Innokas Medical is a growing technology company specialized in healthcare technology.
Our customer cases are typically demanding and offer an excellent opportunity to utilize already existing skills and develop new ones. If you want to do something, which really is improving the quality of life and people’s well-being, then you might be the next star in our Design Studio team in Helsinki or Kempele!
In your role you will:
Your input as a software engineer could be one or several of the following:
- Creating software specifications
- Designing embedded SW or user interfaces
- Implementing actual software, integrating and testing software
- Participating in system design, and
- International collaboration with Innokas and customer teams
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
You could be seasoned professional or recently graduated – our teams are welcoming people from different backgrounds and skill levels. Our bread and butter is embedded SW, our projects use minimalistic RTOSes and embedded Linux to tackle more complex designs. Most of the coding is in C, some in C++ and Python. Connectivity, IoT and cloud computing are also becoming more and more relevant in medical device development.
Developing and testing your code, to the extent mandated by IEC 62304, is also necessary. Innokas team will help with the specifics of healthcare technology, so we are not expecting everyone to have existing knowledge of SW development for medical devices. But if writing good specifications and a systematic way of working comes naturally to you, all the better!
